Light as a feather, milled 38 times, it's perfect for all skin types, mineral based, oil free, this aloevera based foundation hydrates your skin. You can perspire through it.

Application: with the dual it varies, depending on the look you want to achieve. Natural, apply with my big mop brush. Medium, apply with a dry sponge and heavier, dampen the sponge and build the color into the face, then brush over with the mop brush to set. Matching the color is all important. BURDEKIN is beige amber with yellow tones, suitable for most fair, to latin skin, also a very popular color in the range.

DARLING, The lightest colour in my range, suitable for porcelian complexions, or for those who prefer a paler look. Makeup artist tip: Darling is a wonderful highlighter for under the eye, and on top of the cheek bone. ESK: Another very popular color, Esk is a beige crème tone, that suits many women here, being English or Irish decent.

NERANG. A warm earth pink tone, for the peaches and creme complexions Nerang is wonderful for lifting and warming a very strong yellow complexion. It also gives a lift to a sallow (grey) skin,so is excellent for a woman over 60 years. Nerang gives the face an even tone. HAWKESBURY is for the lady with a tan.

SAXBY a warm amber olive tone, for those with a yellow complexion, It cover major redness with a little concealer, then sponge or mop brush Saxby for a wonderful cover. SWAN is a cool grey, which suits freckled skin, and if you can't find a color that suits you, will probably be happy with Swan. it's a grey base.

FLINDERS a cool fair tone which is fantastic for a medium/to dark tone.

Beauty Essentials: The Red Lipsticks

Ali Hamylton Lipstick contains high pigment, oils, waxes and emollients. They are fragrance free, these ingredients create, a smooth long lasting finish. And are well known for their capabilities. Texture is the look and feel of the lipstick on your lips. A red that goes on thinly does not do the job. My reds, Sharma ,Bessette, Kym ,and Marilyn are Matte, Satin .The Matte gives you texture And lasting ,the Satin gives you a smooth, and easy feel.

The beautiful lips formula is skill, technique, practice and a very good lipstick.
The mouth is an immediate attention getter .So the effect lipstick has for creating the right mood, is amazing. When sexually inclined, your lip naturally increases in colour, so no wonder we apply lipstick, to show how we feel.

Red Lipstick has lasted the test of time with different of red color.

The Ancient Filipino, men and women were the first people to invent red lipstick 5,000 years ago. Not too long after, Ancient Egypt women in the Islamic Golden Age, used lipstick made from plants and oils to stain their lips. In the time of Queen Elizabeth they used  bright red lipstick and white painted faces. The 1850’s a French company called Guerlain started to manufacture red lipstick, always a shade of red. Around 1912 American women were wearing red lipstick .Up until then in America, it was only loose women who coloured their lips.

Elizabeth Arden and Estee Lauder started selling different shades of red in their salons.
Plus Charles Revson(Revlon) matched lip and toe colour. High profile actresses like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor were using red lipstick. And I have to say, Thank God, for series like The Bold and the Beautiful, for turning women to red lipstick and away from lip gloss. Now the photos on pianos will have definite gorgeous shades of reds instead of wet lips. And Makeup Artists will have to learn to do lips all over again.

And as well, I must say, of late my sales have increased with Sharma (yellow red) Bessette (dark red) Kym (red brown) and Marilyn (red pink). Visit for more information Ali Hamylton Cosmetics.
